Yasir Nawaz Admits His Mistake Regarding Statement Against Alizeh Shah

Yasir Nawaz is a prominent media figure who is known for acting, directing, producing, and screenwriting. He has directed famous Pakistani films like Wrong Number, Wrong Number 2, and Mehrunisa V Lub U as well as TV drama series like Hona Tha Pyar, Khudgarz, Saat Pardon Me, Ghair, Shak, and Nadaniyaan. 

He has also worked as an actor in several dramas. His notable TV dramas as an actor include Dil Moum Ka Diya, Baaghi, Bikhray Moti, and Mera Dil Mera Dushman. His most popular drama is the comedy series Nadaaniyan in which he played the role of both an actor and writer alongside his wife Nida Yasir and brother Danish Nawaz. Recently Yasir Nawaz shared on Instagram about his upcoming project, announcing it on Sindh Cultural Day, celebrated on December 5. He is planning to make a Sindhi-language film with the popular Sindhi dramatist Noor Ul Huda Shah. 

Recently, Yasir Nawaz appeared as a guest on Shaista Lodhi’s show Gupshup with Shaista and was asked about the statement he gave about Alizeh Shah’s behavior, He admitted that it was his mistake and that he shouldn’t have made that statement.

Yasir Nawaz said, “I was wrong; it was my mistake. I should have kept quiet at that time. We were doing a serial together. She had some issues with the producer, and my work was being affected due to their clashes; I was suffering because of her fights. I was feeling frustrated, that’s why I spoke. I should have kept the name hidden; I don’t know why it even happened. I am sad about that statement.”

Alizeh Shah has been in the limelight for quite a few reasons, one of which is her misbehavior with colleagues on shoots and drama sets. Her misbehavior was also confirmed by actor Naveed Raza on the show Time Out with Ahsan, during the shoot of Mera Dil Mera Dushman, which was produced by Humayun Saeed, where she also misbehaved with him when she was asked to be punctual on set.
