Mahira Khan Reveals the Truth Behind Ranbir Kapoor Controversy

Mahira Khan talks about her viral photos with Ranbir Kapoor in an interview with Haroon Rashid on BBC Asia.

Mahira Khan is acclaimed as one of Pakistan’s most eminent superstars. She has gained the honors of brilliant performance and modeling. She became popular through many works, including the drama “Humsafar.” She has also worked in Bollywood’s Shahrukh Khan-starring film “Raees” and has a worldwide fan following. 

Mahira has a really amazing perfect future; she is now one of the major stars in Pakistan and really well known for her acting and, of course, modeling. A lot of people know her for her such successful projects, “Humsafar” being the most popular among them. She worked in the Bollywood movie “Raees” along with Shahrukh Khan and has an immense fan following across the globe.

Recently, Mahira Khan was a guest on Interview with Haroon Rashid for BBC Asia where she spoke about the time when she got caught in controversy regarding leaking images with Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor.

It was literally the rage when it went viral while Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were simply taking a stroll across New York with cigarettes in hand. It was private and now that it got public, people started getting all lucky that maybe something more was going on between the two.

She got a lot of criticism and hate for making comments regarding her little white dress, smoking, and roaming in another country with Ranbir Kapoor.

She never spoke about such instances, but recently opened up about the same at an Interview.

She said “I remember reading an article called “the little white dress” It was a brilliant article but at that time I couldn’t see the brilliance in it because at that time I was thinking, Is my career over? Here is the woman who has achieved this kind of success that no one else in Pakistan has achieved with all these endorsements, It is something that no one has ever done before and now it’s all gone, or this is about to happen now and in that very moment I was like Damn”

She further revealed that she was under a lot of mental pressure which affected her personal life badly. She said “ I wouldn’t get out of bed, I was crying daily. I was under a lot of mental pressure. My personal and professional life was badly affected. Lots happened on my side”

She also spoke about how her professional network supported her in these difficult times saying “All the brands called me and said We are with you“ which gave her a lot of strength.

Despite the fear of failing her career, she also talked about making some personal choices at that time that she thought were best for her family and her son by remaining silent on that matter. 

All this trust and support from her audiences and the brands she endorsed became her motivation which kept her going “ It was a difficult time but I kept going”, she said.
